Todd M. Hrabak, DO of Sunrise Medical Center has been reviewed and approved by AZ Top Docs based on merit for 2025. Dr. Hrabak’s medical career began with his service in the United States Air Force, where he first gained invaluable experience in internal medicine. After completing his Internal Medicine Residency at Keesler AFB, he was stationed as an internist at Luke AFB. His commitment to advancing his expertise led him to fellowship training in Pediatric and Adult Allergy and Immunology at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland AFB, in San Antonio, Texas.
During his fellowship, Dr. Hrabak received numerous prestigious awards for his medical research, including the Commander’s Research Award and first place in the 2007 American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Fellow’s Award. Prior to retiring from the Air Force, he was appointed Chief of Allergy and Immunology at Eglin AFB in Florida and earned the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
Today, Dr. Hrabak combines his military discipline with a compassionate bedside manner to offer state-of-the-art care in Allergy and Immunology. His expertise spans a wide range of conditions, including asthma, food allergies and anaphylaxis, insect allergies, eczema, drug allergies, allergic rhinitis, contact dermatitis, and immunodeficiency. Dr. Hrabak’s evidence-based approach results in high patient satisfaction and consistently excellent outcomes.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Hrabak is deeply involved in education and research. He frequently lectures to 3rd and 4th-year medical students at Midwestern University and has spoken at state medical society meetings. As an author of numerous peer-reviewed papers, Dr. Hrabak contributes to the medical field through his research and as an associate editor for the Annals of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. He also serves as an adjunct clinical professor at Midwestern University. Dr. Hrabak is board-certified in Allergy and Immunology and is a Fellow of both the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.
In addition to his academic and professional accolades, Dr. Hrabak was an NCAA Division I, All-American tennis player at Duquesne University, a testament to his dedication and competitive spirit both on and off the court.
