Dathan Hamann, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist and Medical Director of Saguaro Dermatology and the Contact Dermatitis Institute. He is actively involved in physician education as the Associate Program Director and a Core Faculty member of the HonorHealth Dermatology Residency in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Hamann also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix and contributes to the field through leadership roles with the Phoenix Dermatology Society and the Education Committee of the American Contact Dermatitis Society.

Dr. Hamann earned his undergraduate degree from Calvin College and his medical degree from the University of Arizona. He completed his dermatology residency at The Ohio State University, where he served as Chief Resident of Research. A respected author and researcher, he has co-authored textbook chapters on rubber and metal allergies and published more than 50 peer-reviewed articles. His clinical interests focus on complex medical dermatology and contact dermatitis.
