Brendan Girschek, MD, FRCS(C), FACS, is a board-certified vitreoretinal surgeon known for his precision, clinical excellence, and compassionate approach to patient care. With more than 15 years of experience in private medical and surgical retina practice, he provides advanced treatment for a wide range of complex retinal diseases and vision-threatening conditions.

Dr. Girschek specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of retinal and vision conditions, including retinal detachments, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, macular holes, and eye inflammation (uveitis). He provides both medical and surgical care using advanced treatment techniques to help protect and preserve his patients’ vision. Dual board-certified in both the United States and Canada, he combines extensive surgical expertise with the latest retinal technologies to deliver highly individualized care.

As the only full-time retina surgeon serving northern Arizona, Dr. Girschek is dedicated to expanding access to specialized retinal care throughout the region. He sees patients at his primary Flagstaff office and surgical center, while also providing clinical and surgical services through satellite locations in Show Low and Cottonwood.
