A private practice Clinical Endocrinologist in Phoenix, Arizona for over 30 years, Dr. Richard Dolinar’s main clinical and research interests have been focused on Diabetes. Dr. Dolinar graduated from Siena College and The State University of New York at Buffalo Medical School. He did his Endocrinology Fellowship at Duke University and is the Chairman of the Alliance for Safe Biologic Medicines (ASBM).

A published author, his articles and opinion pieces have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The New York Times, The New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association) and the Indiana Health Law Review Journal. He is co-author of the book, Diabetes 101 and serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of Endocrine Today.

Dr. Dolinar is a past board member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and serves on its National Legislative and Regulatory Committee. He is a Senior Fellow in Healthcare Policy at the Heartland Institute and is recognized both nationally and internationally as an expert in healthcare policy. He has testified before the U.S. Senate Subcommittee on Consumer Affairs and given multiple Congressional briefings on Capitol Hill. He has presented in Geneva, Switzerland to the World Health Organization and has given lectures elsewhere in the world.

A Flight Surgeon in the Vietnam War, Dr. Dolinar is a retired U.S. Air Force Colonel.
